2,4,6,8 Boxes

These little boxes are super easy to make, and can be embellished so many different ways for just about any occasion. You can leave them open on top and fill with goodies, or you can pinch the top closed and tie some ribbon around it, you can put handles on them, you can make them taller, shorter...the possibilities are endless!  This is one of two projects my stamp club will be making this month. I filled a cello bag with red and white M&M's and tied with some ribbon and a tag. This took about 15 minutes to make, and you can get two boxes from one sheet of cardstock. All you need is some cardstock, a paper trimmer with a scoring blade, some adhesive, and whatever you want to embellish with. Check out Amy's blog here for some easy to follow instructions on how to make these!

Supplies used: Simply Said and Tags So Much stamp sets, cardstock in Regal Rose, Groovy Guava, and Whisper White, scallop, circle and tag punches, white gel pen, grosgrain ribbon, cello bag, Stickles.

Valentines Day Mailbox Class

How stinkin' cute are these little mailboxes? This one is my hostess gift for my stamp club this month, but I will be having a class on February 8th where you will have the opportunity to make your own! If you are not able to attend the class, I'll be happy to put all the materials in a kit that you can pick up later, or I can send it to you. Class fee is $15, and includes the mailbox and all materials to embellish the box and create 4 matching notecards (envelopes included). We will be using the Berry Bliss paper that is featured in the new Spring/Summer catalog. If you prefer the mailbox as shown, I have enough of that paper to make one more box - let me know and I can put together a kit for you. These make cute gifts for teachers, friends, neighbors, or yourself, and I'm totally addicted to making them!

Supplies used: Riveting stamp set, SU Loves Me Designer Series paper, cardstock in Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose, Whisper White and Taken with Teal, scallop, tag and circle punches, grosgrain ribbon, Stickles

6x6 Scrapbook Page for January

I finally got the Stampin' Up! desktop calendar, and I'm in the process of creating scrapbook pages for all the months. The 6x6 size fits perfectly in the calendar, and at the end of the year I'll remove the pages, pop them into an album and I'll have a complete album to keep or to give as a gift! I love the 6x6 size because they're super easy, are quick to make and you don't need a ton of embellishments to finish them.  So here is my page for January. This is also one of two projects that my stamp club ladies will be making this month!

Supplies used: Warm Words stamp set, Porcelain Prints Designer Series Paper, Hodgepodge Hardware, stitched ribbon in River Rock, cardstock in Blue Bayou, River Rock and Very Vanilla.
